For wheat farmers, the annual rite of fall planting (and a successful fall harvest) begins with a dedicated, well-informed certified seed dealer. Syngenta, the global company who sells wheat seed under the AgriPro brand, awarded its top-selling Associates at a meeting in Salina in March.
Matt Keating, cereals regional account lead for Syngenta, says AgriPro associates – many of whom are farmers themselves – are trained to help farmers maximize yield potential, and provide a wealth of expertise about the products they sell.
We’d be remiss if we didn’t tout the benefits of certified seed, as opposed to bin-run seed. Certified seed is guaranteed to be pure, thereby reducing the risk for disease infections and low germination rates while providing the advantages of new seed technology.
The associates pictured below do it better than anyone. Their awards were earned based on sales volume, plus associates’ commitment to producing top-quality certified seed.
